If you’re looking for somewhere very cool and unusual to stay in Tel Aviv, I have just the answer; The Varsano Hotel. This up-market suite-only hotel is situated right in the center of the gorgeous quaint neighborhood of Neve Zedek. The luxury suites are intertwined by gorgeous gardens and small terraces, and are all separate to the reception. They contain a large living area and well equipped kitchen, a luxury bedroom and bathroom complete with L’Occitane products.

For breakfast you are given a voucher for several restaurants in the area, including the delightful Suzanne restaurant, and rumour has it that they will soon be opening their own restaurant for hotel guests.
The staff keep their distance but they are always there if you need them. Just as an example of their attentive service, I was recently staying there when a siren went off, and straight afterwards they called our room to see if we were OK and to run through procedures for such events, which instantly calmed us down.
This really is the perfect place for a peaceful retreat, and also very romantic. It is in prime position to explore Tel Aviv, although be warned, you might just find yourself enjoying the luxury of the suites rather than venturing out!
A little pricey to say the least, but it really is worth every shekel.
